As I walked into the forest, I saw trees and animals.
\nI saw a deer with a caribou.
\nI saw a rock that looked like a giant’s big toe.
\nThe clearing got narrower, the bushes caved in,
\nIt led to a place with many more plants and animals.
\nMonkeys climb and fight with prehensile tails,
\nJaguars and sloths move quietly.
\nTapirs hide with its friend, an armadillo.
\nButterflies flitter-flutter around silently.
\nFlowers bloom beautifully,
\nBromiliads water-filled and occupied.
\nTrees with roots, bigger than man.
\nSoil paths turned to rocky paths.
\nIt went back to normal.
\nA dog ran in front of me, chasing a squirrel;
\nChipmunks look for trees to live in.
\nAs I walked into the forest, I saw trees with animals.
